The Utrecht Conservatory has a vital flute section with internationally active soloists and composers spanning an arch from old to new classical music, from jazz to world. The program includes concerts, masterclasses, workshops, lectures and a grand finale with an ad hoc Flute BigBand. Flutists and students from outside HKU are welcome.

the English flutist Philippa Davies  &  piccolo specialist Anke Lauwerse.

The festival also welcomes the Dutch Flute Society (NFG), which organizes a forum discussion and holds their annual meeting.
