‘m-m-m’ began as a collaboration between flutist Mark Lotz and vocalist/pianist Marieke Snijders, later joined by bassist Marco van Os.

This ensemble explored an intimate form of chamber music, blending new compositions with evocative lyrics. The combination of Lotz’s expressive flutes and Snijders’ ethereal voice created an otherworldly, atmospheric soundscape—one that sought depth, beauty, and emotional resonance.

Originally known as ‘m-m-m’, the project later evolved into the Snijders/Os/Lotz Trio. Though short-lived, the trio performed a few concerts and recorded a demo in 2013.
