Michael Baird & Mark Lotz Duo

Active from 1995 to 1997, this duo performed in concert and contributed to various recording projects. They recorded for “Pavilloen – De wereld barst van de idealen” (1995), an art project by Marijke Nielen (Utrecht), and collaborated on Bons, which led to a cassette release. Two of their tracks were also featured on Michael Baird’s album On Remote Patrol (1997).

Baird and Lotz reimagined an ancient musical form, breaking free from stylistic constraints with boundless creativity. The result was a sound that was both inventive and imaginative, shaped by two strong musical individualists.
