Cuban vocalist and clarinet player here united with her husband Jakob and her son Liber Torrientes. This track features the bass flute.

For this album Sandra and Jakob brought their musical friends over to the recording studio and recorded popular Haitian and Cuban songs from the time of Marthe Jean-Claude (1919-2001). Marthe Jean-Claude is known as the Grand Lady of Haitian Music; she is also Sandra Mirabal’s mother.
