Thrilled to be back on the road with my dear friends Sibel Köse and Kamil Erdem. We’re heading out on a long tour through deep Anatolia, traveling close to the borders of Georgia and Syria. With a three-day stop in Gaziantep I’m excited to spend time in the culinary heart of Turkey.

May 14 I return to my beloved Karga in night celebrating electric sounds with my dear friend guitarist Şevket Akıncı. May 18th I’ll be guest with the band Hoca Nasreddin, in the vibrant neighborhood of Cihangir, Istanbul—at The Attik. And of course, no visit is complete without daily pilgrimages to the temple of food: Çiya Sofrasý!

As always, Turkey calls not just for music and friendship, but for a full celebration of the senses.
