Modern Jazz (1989–1991)

The Albanism Quartet was the first ensemble led by Mark Alban Lotz, active from 1989 until the formation of Lotz Of Music in 1991.

The quartet gained recognition as a finalist at the Jazz Contest in Karlovy Vary (1989), Slovakia, and as a prize winner at the Middelzee Jazz Festival Competition (1991).

Performances

The group extensively toured Germany (both East and West), as well as Spain, Slovakia, and the Netherlands.

Radio

The Albanism Quartet recorded for radio stations in the Netherlands, Germany, and Slovakia.
